The CIC and its agents and representatives may collect personal information from you in person when you attend a CIC hosted event, when you submit an online registration form, send us an e-mail message, call us by phone or send us postal mail. All personal information is kept strictly confidential and the CIC takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information using physical, electronic and operational security methods. Authorized employees, agents and mandataries of the CIC who require access to your personal information in order to fulfill their job requirements will have access to your personal information.

The amount and type of personal information the CIC may collect varies depending on the nature of your relationship with us and may include:

  • Your name, your child(ren)’s name, mailing address, telephone number, e-mail address and other contact information;
  • Financial information necessary to process a donation or purchase, such as your credit or debit card number or banking information; and

The CIC may use your personal information in connection with its activities and programs including to:

  • Fulfill your requests, for example, to process a registration or donation or to provide you with products or information that you request;
