National Chess Camp is Canada’s premier overnight chess camp. It takes place annually in August alongside National Music Camp at Camp Wahanowin on the beautiful shores of Lake Couchiching near Orillia, Ontario. All campers sleep in cabins that have indoor plumbing and electricity.
Campers receive 4 to 5 hours of chess activities per day and are free to participate in recreational activities and other non-chess-related events for the balance of the day and evening. Recreational activities include swimming, canoeing, volleyball, tennis and more.
