Our March Break day camps offer a chance for students to continue with chess even when school is on break. The camp is five days in length and runs during March break.
Campers are divided into groups based on chess experience and age, to ensure that everyone has the most fun they can possibly have. The Chess World curriculum is used for all chess-related activities. Counsellors are all trained CIC instructors skilled in teaching groups of children that have a diverse range of chess knowledge and proficiency. The instructors are educators first, and chess players second.
Camp Director, Tal Granite, always creates an exciting curriculum, which guarantees campers a well-rounded, fun and exciting experience. On any given day campers may be involved in chess lessons and tournaments, chess clock action, a host of ballgames, raquet games, martial arts, archery, swimming, drama and improv, arts and crafts, and numerous other activities.
